COMPANY HISTORY
The parent company of Laptoptech Ltd. is Aviatronic Ltd., which was founded during the regime change in Budapest, at the Central Physical Research Institute, which still serves as the company's headquarters today.
In the beginning, most of the company's work involved defense technology developments for NATO allied forces. Our company worked on unmanned aerial vehicles, optical surveillance systems, black boxes, and even combat simulators built for training purposes. As a result, we required high-tech infrastructure, which made us a leading company in Hungary.
DEVELOPMENT & DIRECTION CHANGE
As time passed and defense technology investments decreased, the management of Aviatronic Ltd. realized the significant potential for civilian applications of its equipment, the nearly 30 years of accumulated professional experience, knowledge, and, of course, the work of our experts. Within a short period, our company established warranty partnerships with Toshiba and Fujitsu Siemens, and also performs warranty repairs for smaller brands such as the Polish Overmax and the Spanish Elements. Our company has had decades-long relationships with the German RTS, and we are long-time partners of the German Beckhoff automation company as well.
In June 2017, the decision was made to separate the two service portfolios. Without changing the premises, ownership, or workforce, Laptoptech Ltd. was founded, continuing the electronics service operations, while the aviation-related development tasks remained with Aviatronic Ltd.
FUTURE VISION
This is our past and present. Our future is moving toward the vision in which Laptoptech Ltd. and Aviatronic Ltd. deepen their presence in the electronics service markets, not only in computer equipment but also in consumer electronics and the automotive segments. We aim to become warranty repair partners for even more brands, and achieving this goal requires keeping our infrastructure up to date.
Currently, our technology and expertise are more than sufficient to safely undertake these and similar demanding tasks. However, we understand that we cannot rely on past achievements indefinitely; we must continuously develop our equipment, facilities, and the technical skills of our employees.
WHAT WE DO
We provide hardware maintenance and electronics repair, not just for main components but down to the deepest component level, repairing notebooks, industrial computers, electronic devices, and circuit boards, including component placement. Our service lab is equipped with the most advanced BGA placement machines for integrated circuits and we regularly use green and lead-free soldering technologies that meet the highest ISO standards to complete our orders.
We have extensive experience in testing and repairing industrial electronics systems (computers, controllers). Our company is a proud partner of Beckhoff Automation GmbH, performing repairs, updates, and IT development for their modular control systems for nearly ten years.
Based on our corporate portfolio, we believe there are multiple points of connection between our companies, which could provide opportunities for collaboration and mutually beneficial partnerships.
